Schmerlenbach forest

The Schmerlenbacher forest was until 1980 an unincorporated community in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

The area was west of the places Schmerlenbach and Winzenhohl . With a resolution of August 21, 1818, the Schmerlenbach homestead was assigned to the political community of Winzenhohl. The Schmerlenbach Forest was excluded from this. It became a parish-free area. On January 1st, 1980 it was incorporated into Hösbach .
