Until the church is planted

Münster is considered the foundation of Irish-Scottish monks. It later belonged to the Munich Rent Office and the Rain Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . Until the secularization in 1803 that was Cistercian - Kloster Niederschönenfeld important landowner in the village. District affiliation

1. Mayor was Konrad Dumberger from 1978 to 1994 and Alois Stuber from 1994 to 2008. In the local elections in 2008 and 2014 , Gerhard Pfitzmaier (without competitors) was elected first mayor.

Since May 1, 2020, his successor has been Jürgen Raab (CSU), who was elected on March 15, 2020 without a competitor.
