Lara Marie Krause (born November 28, 1998 in Linz , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian singer and songwriter .

Life

Lara Krause is of Argentinian-Austrian descent and grew up in Linz.

She began her career at the age of three as a child model for various fashion houses. As a singer, she took part in the Linz talent competition for the first time in 2001 with the song “Little Princess”, where she took first place. Since 2007 she was a member of the school band "Jolly Jokers", whose singer she was until they were dissolved. Her repertoire included self-composed pieces from the fields of jazz , pop and soul . In 2007 she had her first big appearance at the Christmas concert in Neuhofen an der Krems with the “Jolly Jokers” . Until the end of 2013 she also played in the big band "Am Dam Jazz".

In 2009 Krause won the Kiddy Contest with Roman Lochmann with the song "Märchenwald". In the same year she sang on the TV show light on the ORF their songs "enchanted forest" and "Christmas". Furthermore, she had appearances at the Christmas gala with Carmen Nebel and at the Eiszauber in Linz. In 2010 she was among the best 60 participants in the casting for “ Das Supertalent ”. In 2013 she took part in the TV casting show The Voice Kids , where she made it into the battle group in Tim Bendzko's team.

Together with the pianist Julian Gruber , Krause plays his own compositions and cover songs in the formation “November28”.

Since 2016 she has been a member of the formation "The Flashback Project", "Lar @ coustics" and also performs with her own band.
