Lars Friedrich (born April 23, 1985 in Cuxhaven ) is a German handball player . His body length is 1.94 m. Friedrich, currently in the 2nd team at HBW Balingen-Weilstetten , is mostly used in the right backcourt .

Career

Lars Friedrich started playing handball at TSV Altenwalde. He joined the regional division TSV Bremervörde in 2003 through HSG Geestemünde . He recommended himself for higher tasks through good performance; for the 2005/2006 season he was signed by SG Solingen , where he made his debut in the 2nd Handball Bundesliga South. When his club merged with LTV Wuppertal to form Bergisches Handball-Club 06 in the summer of 2006 , Friedrich's contract was extended; However, he received only a few operating times in the following season and was finally sorted out in 2007. He then joined the second division club SG Achim / Baden . At the Lower Saxony Friedrich knew how to convince and with 257 goals he became the best goal scorer of his team and the fifth best scorer in the league; Nevertheless, his club got into financial difficulties, which resulted in the forced relegation to the league . Friedrich signed a contract with TuS Nettelstedt-Lübbecke, who had just been relegated from the Bundesliga . With the TuS he succeeded in the immediate return to the Bundesliga. At the end of the 2014/15 season he was promoted to the Bundesliga with the TVB. In the 2015/16 season , Friedrich played in the Bundesliga with the club now operating under the name TVB 1898 Stuttgart . On July 1, 2016, Friedrich joined the HBW Balingen-Weilstetten . For the 2019/20 season he switched to the 2nd team at HBW Balingen-Weilstetten.
