Lars Knutzon (born October 1, 1941 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish actor and director .

biography

Lars Knutzon is the son of the actor, theater director and theater director Per Knutzon and the cabaret singer Lulu Ziegler . He graduated from the Drama School of the Odense Theater in 1967 and then worked for several years at this theater.

Knutzon then worked for many years as an actor and director and in several Danish theaters, as well as made several appearances in a variety of different roles on television , radio and in film . He is also active as a Danish voice actor in cartoons and animated films as well as in other films.

On stage, he played the leading role in A Midsummer Night's Dream ( En Skærsommernatsdrøm ), As You Like It ( Som Man Behager ), Don Quixote , Koks i Kulissen , Waiting for Godot ( Mens vi venter på Godot ), Woyzeck , Slutspil and in Hamlet .

In Danish films and television series, he had various appearances in John, Alice, Peter, Susanne og lille Verner , En stor familie , Ludo , Kald mig Liva , Bryggeren , Borgen - dangerous rope groups and in the Christmas series Nissebanden , Alletiders Nisse and Jul på Kronborg .

From 1993 to 1995 he was theater director at ABC Teatret .

Lars Knutzon is the father of the playwright Line Knutzon .
