Latarsha Rose (* in Brooklyn , New York City , New York ) is an American actress , best known for her role as Portia in The Hunger Games .

life and career

Brooklyn native Latarsha Rose attended Georgetown University . There she made her first experiences with acting and worked on several theater productions.

Latarsha Rose's career began in 2000 with a guest appearance on Law & Order . This was followed by numerous other appearances in series such as CSI: NY (2004), Bones - The Bone Hunters (2009) and All My Children (2010). Her breakthrough, however, gained only rose to the role of Portia in the film The Hunger Games - The Hunger Games , which on the book The Hunger Games - Deadly Games by Suzanne Collins is based. In the same year she also appeared on the ABC series Revenge , before she played the role of Dr. in the 2013 pilot of the series Being Mary Jane. Lisa Hudson was sitting.
