Laub is a district of the Mähring market in the Bavarian district of Tirschenreuth .

Foliage is 669 m above sea level. NN and has 36 inhabitants . The village belongs to the Stiftland region in the northern Upper Palatinate Forest and is not far from the German-Czech border . It lies between the parish villages of Großkonreuth and Griesbach , which are connected by the TIR 4 .

The Bavarian cadastre shows Laub in the 1810s as a hamlet with nine hearths around a 500 m² pond .

In the course of the Bavarian regional reform in 1978, the previously independent municipality of Griesbach , to which Laub also belonged, was incorporated into Mähring . In 2017 the "Wetterberg-Laub" wind farm went into operation.
