Laura Allen

Laura Allen (born March 21, 1974 in Portland , Oregon ) is an American actress .

life and career

Laura Allen graduated from Wellesley College with a major in criminology and sociology in 1996 and spent nine months with the New York Police Department as a domestic violence expert. In addition to her job, she worked as an actress and appeared in plays.

Eventually she decided to make acting her main job and got a role in the US soap opera All My Children , in which she appeared from 2000 to 2001. She made her cinema debut in 2003 alongside Julia Roberts in Mona Lisa's smile . In 2004 she got a leading role in the series 4400 - The Returners .
