Laura Bauer (born September 23, 1989 in Vilnius , born Laura Magelinskas ) is an Austrian handball player .
The 1.78 m tall backcourt player was under contract with the German second division TV Beyeröhde from 2009 to 2010. From the 2010/11 season, Bauer will play for the HSG Bensheim / Auerbach . For the 2013/14 season she moved to HSG Blomberg-Lippe . In the summer of 2015 she moved to the French handball club Plan de Cuques. After Bauer was without a club from summer 2017, she joined the Norwegian second division Arendal in January 2018.
Private
Her father Romas is a handball coach and most recently looked after Union Leoben . Before that he coached the Austrian first division club SG Handball West Wien and handball club Fivers WAT Margareten . Her mother Lolita trained the women's first division club Wiener Neustadt until the 2012/13 season. Her husband Thomas Bauer is an Austrian national player .
