Laure Calamy (* 1975 in Orléans ) is a French actress .

Life

Laure Calamy is the daughter of a doctor and a nurse. After graduating from school, she moved to Paris, where she successfully completed an acting training at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in 2001 . In the same year she found a theatrical engagement in the play Au monde comme n'y étant pa, directed by Olivier Py . After several other plays and film appearances, she has been a regular supporting actress in French film productions such as The Next, Please! , 9 mois ferme and see this summer feeling . For her portrayal of Maud in the by Léa Mysius staged drama of love Ava , she was at the presentation of César in 2018 with a nomination for Best Supporting Actress considered. In the same category she was nominated again in 2020 for the crime drama Nur die Tiere .
