The Lausnitz in the Reichsforst (Fichtelgebirge) is a left tributary of the Wondreb .

It is also the namesake of the natural subunit Lausnitzer Randberge (394-D), which divides the Reichsforst with cabbage forest from the natural spatial main unit Hohes Fichtelgebirge (394).

source

The stream rises south of Preisdorf between Ruheberg and Hirschentanz am Burgrangen.

course

The Lausnitz already feeds the first fish ponds shortly after its source and then runs in an easterly direction until it crosses state road 2176 a good bit south of Konnersreuth . It then flows southeast to Konnersreuther Lodermühle, where it changes to the south between the wooded cones Streuleite ( 582  m above sea level ) on the right and Gulgberg ( 579  m above sea level ) on the left. Right at the beginning of this section, the Lüffelgraben emerging from behind the scattering side opens on the right. After it has passed the mountains, it turns again to the east; Opposite the Gulgberg, the Steinbühlgraben flows here immediately and again from the right. Finally it crosses the hamlet of Terschnitz in the east of the municipality of Leonberg and flows a quarter of a kilometer after him from the left into the Wondreb, which runs northwards here .

use

The stream is used economically by fishing (pond systems).
