The Lautrupsbach is a brook in Flensburg in Schleswig-Holstein . The river has a length of about 2.6 km. It rises on the graveyard Adelby in Flensburg district Tarup near the B199 from the confluence of Adelbybek and Taerbek and opens the new building Shipshape in Flensburg Harbor , at the end of the Flensburg Fjord is which part of the Baltic Sea is.
The small river was named in 1898 after Christian Lautrup, who owned the water mill on St. Jürgen. Another mill was still at Lautrupsbach near Fruerlundmühle , but it was a windmill.
From 1989 to 2009 the Lautrupsbach was largely renatured after it was straightened and built over in the post-war period . During this time, the Teufelsloch , a former rail tunnel below the Bismarckstrasse bridge , was exposed and opened for pedestrian traffic. The green corridor of the stream is part of a green corridor of the Flensburg harbor , via said Lautrupsbachtal, Adelby , the Vogelsang , block mountain and the Tremmeruper forest until Glucksburg enough.
