Pierre-De Saurel (before January 1, 2009 Le Bas-Richelieu ) is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale de comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region of Montérégie and consists of twelve subordinate administrative units (three cities, three municipalities, a village and five districts). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982 as MRC Le Bas-Richelieu . The main town is Sorel-Tracy . On October 18, 2008, the regional parish was renamed to its current name. The population is 49,969 and the area 594.3 km², which corresponds to a population density of 84.1 inhabitants per km².
