La Vallée-du-Richelieu is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region of Montérégie and consists of 13 subordinate administrative units (six cities, six municipalities and one district). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982. The main town is Belœil . The population is 115,734 and the area 586.6 km², which corresponds to a population density of 197.3 inhabitants per km².
