Le Chesne is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Marbois with 643 inhabitants (643) in the Eure in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ).

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Chanteloup , Les Essarts , Saint-Denis-du-Béhélan and Le Chesne were merged into a nouvelle commune called Marbois . The municipality of Le Chesne belonged to the Arrondissement Bernay (until 2017 Évreux ), the canton Breteuil and the local authority Normandie Sud Eure .
