Lea Einfalt (born May 19, 1994 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian cross-country skier .
Career
Einfalt, who starts for TSK Triglav Kranj, mainly participated in U18 and U20 races in the Alpine Cup from 2010 to 2014 , in which she finished fourth in the U20 overall ranking in the 2013/14 season . She had her first international success at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2011 in Liberec . There she won silver in the 5 km freestyle. One month later she achieved bronze in the 7.5 km mass start race and gold over 5 km at the 2011 European cross-country skiing championships in Ramsau am Dachstein . In January 2012, she won the classic bronze medal over 5 km at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Seefeld in Tirol . At the following Junior World Ski Championships in Erzurum , she won bronze with the relay and silver in the 10 km skiathlon. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , she achieved 62nd place over 10 km freestyle. She ran her first World Cup race in December 2013 in Davos , which she finished in 54th place over 15 km freestyle. In December 2014, she also got her first World Cup points in Davos with 20th place in the 10 km freestyle. The 2015 Tour de Ski finished in 22nd place overall. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 2015 , she came in 35th place in the skiathlon, 26th place in the 10 km freestyle and tenth place with the relay. In the 2015/16 season she took 53rd place at the Nordic Opening in Ruka and 34th place at the Tour de Ski . At the U23 World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râşnov , she won the silver medal in the 10 km freestyle. In March 2016 she came on the podium for the first time with two third places in the Alpencup on the Großer Arber and in Toblach . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti , she achieved 13th place with the relay.
