Leandro Vissotto Neves (born April 30, 1983 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

2009 near Trentino

Career

Vissotto Neves began his career in 1995 in the offspring of Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . In his last year at Flamengo, he moved up to the first team. In 2000 he moved to Cimed Florianópolis . The following year, the diagonal attacker won the Junior World Championship with the Brazilian offspring. In the same year he made his debut in the senior national team . From 2002 to 2006 he played for four other clubs in Brazil on an annual basis. With the national team, Vissotto Neves won the World League in 2003 and 2006 . After the second triumph, he moved to the Italian first division club Maggiora Latina . The following season he played for league rivals Prisma Taranto . In 2008 the diagonal attacker was signed by Trentino Volley . With Trentino he won the 2009 Champions League final against Iraklis Thessaloniki . The Brazilians were successful in the world league again in the same year and also became South American champions . In 2010, Trentino won the Italian Cup with Vissotto Neves and defended the Champions League title by beating VK Dynamo Moscow in the final . The national team repeated the victory in the world league . At the World Cup in Italy , the Brazilians prevailed against Cuba in the final . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , Vissotto Neves won the silver medal with Brazil.
