The Italian engineer Paolo Sanseviero has lived in Germany for twenty years and is married to his German wife Martina. But your marriage is in crisis. In this situation he receives a call from his brother Toto, who asks him to come back to Apulia because his mother is allegedly dying. But when he arrives in Puglia, Paulo finds out that his mother is healthy and that this was just a trick by his brother to lure him back to his homeland to help the family in a deep economic crisis. Paulo gets closer to his family again and helps them; he is also reconciled with his wife.
