Life Behind Masks ( pinyin : Qī xiǎo fú, Cantonese : Cat1 siu2 fuk1) is a Hong Kong film directed by Alex Law . The film was first released in 1988. The language spoken in this film is Cantonese.

The Chinese title refers to the Seven Little Fortunes - Jackie Chan , Sammo Hung and his "opera brothers" who later became successful in the Hong Kong film industry . The film focuses on Master Yu Ho, her teacher, and the educational methods of his protégés.

In 1962, nine-year-old A Long's dream came true: the famous instructor Yu ( Sammo Hung ) finally accepted him . The apprenticeship lasts ten years - a tough and exciting time for A Long.
