Lee Jung-sik (born May 17, 1985 ) is a South Korean biathlete and cross-country skier .

Lee Jung-sik initially competed in the Continental Cup cross-country skiing competitions between 2002 and 2004 , where he finished between eleven and 20. In 2004, he switched to biathlon. In Obertilliach he took part in his first competitions in the junior competitions in the European Biathlon Cup . In Kontiolahti Lee started for the first and only time at a Junior World Championship and finished 79th in the individual, 78th in the sprint and 20 with the relay of South Korea. Since 2006, the South Korean competes in the male performance category. The first race here was a sprint in Obertilliach at the start of the 2006/07 season of the European Cup , in which Lee was 105th. The best result in the racing series so far is an 87th place achieved shortly afterwards in a fuel in the same place, leaving 30 other runners behind. In 2007 he took part in two relay races of the Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof and Ruhpolding and reached places 21 and 23 with the selection of South Korea. The highlight of 2007 was the Winter Asian Games in Changchun , where Lee was 16th in the individual competition. Lee also started at the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof . In the cross-country competitions he was 49th in the sprint, but was disqualified after the pursuit race because of the handicap of other runners, like his compatriot Lee In-bok . On rollerskiing he reached place 57 in the sprint, he did not finish the pursuit race because he was lapped.
