Lee In-bok ( kor. 이인복 ) (born March 30, 1984 ) is a South Korean biathlete .
Lee In-bok starts for KAFAC and is trained by Shin Yong-sun. The sports soldier has been practicing biathlon since 1998 and lives in Jeollabuk-do Province . The South Korean made his first significant international appearance at the 2004 Summer Biathlon Junior World Championships in Osrblie . There he achieved good results. He finished eleventh in the sprint, ninth in the pursuit and tenth in the mass start race. For the 2004/05 season he also made his debut in the Junior European Cup. The highlight was the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti , where a 61st place in the sprint was the best result. At the beginning of the 2005/06 season Lee started for the first time in the European Biathlon Cup , at the end of the season he took part in his first race in the Biathlon World Cup in Pokljuka and was 96th in a sprint. Lee was for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin provided where eventually but Park Yun-bae was preferred. From the following season , World Cup appearances became the norm, with the South Korean mostly achieving results in the 80s and 90s. Highlight of the season were Biathlon World Championships 2007 from Antholz , where Lee was used in single and reached the 86th place. A year later it was used in three World Championship races in Östersund . In the singles he finished 72nd, in the sprint Lee was 80th and alongside Jo In-hee , Mun Ji-hee and Park Byung-joo 19th in the mixed relay race. The 2008/09 season was completely geared towards the world championships in their own country . On the way to the world championships in Pyeongchang , Lee was able to achieve his best result in a World Cup race in Hochfilzen as 54th of an individual. Lee In-bok took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. His best result was 65th place in the sprint.
