Lee Orr
Lee Orr ( Lee Pearce Orr; born April 12, 1917 in Saskatchewan , † July 23, 2009 in Monroe , Washington , United States ) was a Canadian sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in 1936 he was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run and came in fifth place over 200 m and in the 4-by-100-meter relay .
In 1938 he was eliminated from the British Empire Games in Sydney over 440 yards in advance and won the Canadian 4-by-440-yard relay.
As a student at Washington State University , he became an NCAA champion over 440 yards in 1940 .
