Lee Sun-hee ( Korean 이선희 ; born October 21, 1978 in Seoul ) is a South Korean Taekwondoin and Olympic champion . She started in the Olympic weight class up to 67 kilograms.
Career
Lee Sun-hees achieved her first major international title wins at the Asian Championships. In 1992 she won her first title in Kuala Lumpur in the weight class up to 70 kilograms, followed by the second title in Melbourne in 1996 in the weight class up to 60 kilograms. In 1998 she won bronze in this weight class and in the same year silver at the Asian Games in Bangkok . At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 she defeated Trude Gundersen 6: 3 in the final of the weight class up to 67 kilograms , making her Olympic champion. In 2003, she was also a 5: 2-final against Sandra Šarić in Garmisch-Partenkirchen World Champion . She celebrated her last title win when she won the 2004 Asian Championships.
