The 6th European Athletics Team Championships (English / sponsor name: 6th SPAR European Team Championships ), also known as European Team Championships , took place on June 20 and 21, 2015.
The composition of the leagues was determined after the previous European Team Championship on June 21 and 22, 2014. The highest class, the so-called Super League, took place in the Central Stadium in Cheboksary ( Russia ). At the same time the competitions of the 1st division in Heraklion ( Greece ), the 2nd division in Stara Sagora ( Bulgaria ) and the 3rd division in Baku ( Azerbaijan ) took place.
German team
The German Athletics Association (DLV) had nominated 49 athletes (24 women and 25 men). The German team started as defending champions in the super league and finished in 2nd place.
