Leif Håkan Nordin (born January 15, 1961 in Mora ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player .

Career

Håkan Nordin began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of Mora IK , for whose professional team he was active from 1977 to 1980 in Division 1 , the second Swedish division. For the 1980/81 season , the defender moved to Färjestad BK from the Elitserien , with which he immediately won the Swedish championship . He was able to repeat this success with the Färjestad BK in the 1985/86 and 1987/88 seasons . For the 1988/89 season , the left shooter joined the Västra Frölunda HC from Division 1, with whom he rose straight away to the Elitserien at the end of the season. He last played for the second division Arvika HC in the 1992/93 season before ending his career at the age of 32.

International

For Sweden , Nordin took part in the junior division of the U18 European Junior Championships in 1979 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 1980 and 1981 . At the U20 World Cup in 1980 he and his team won the bronze medal, at the U20 World Cup in 1981 the gold medal. At the U20 World Cup in 1981, he was also the best template provider of the tournament, in whose All-Star Team he was selected.

In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , where he won the bronze medal with Sweden.
