The Lej Tschüffer is a mountain lake in the municipality of Pontresina in the canton of Graubünden in the Swiss Alps . It is located at 2751 m above sea level. M.
Location and surroundings
Lej Tschüffer is the upper of the two lakes in Val Tschüffer. They are located in the Livigno Alps on a small high plateau , enclosed by the mountains Piz dal Fain ( 2907 m ), Piz Pischa ( 3136 m ), Piz Sagliaint ( 2944 m ) and Piz Tschüffer ( 2917 m ) as well as the Fuorcla Tschüffer passes ( 2832 m ) in the west and Fuorcla Prünella ( 2825 m ) in the north.
The water flows south and falls over Tschüffer in Val Tschüffer . The water then flows into the Ova da la Val da Fain , which drains the Val da Fain from La Stretta , and then as Ova da Bernina through the Val Bernina to Samedan , where it flows into the Inn .
