Lemeschi ( Ukrainian Лемеші ; Russian Лемеши ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Chernihiv with about 600 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1709, has been part of the Koselez settlement community in the east of Koselez Rajon since 2018 . Until then it was the administrative center of the district council of the same name , to which the villages Bojariwka ( Боярівка ), Horbachi ( Горбачі ), Pissotske ( Пісоцьке ), Schapichy ( Шапіхик ), Scholojky ( Шиикy ) and Shulkyaky ( Шолойк ) belonged
The village is located at an altitude of 116 m, 9 km north of the municipality and district center of Koselets and 60 km south of the Chernihiv oblast center . The M 01 / E 95 road runs through the village .
In the village, the Trinity Church ( Трьохсвятительська церква ) built by the architect Ivan Hryhorowytsch-Barskyj between 1755 and 1760 on the orders of Alexei Razumovsky is an architectural monument that is stylistically at the transition from Baroque to Classicism.
