Lenßen - The film is a German crime film based on the pseudo-documentary Lenßen & Partner . The film, directed by Andy Klein, was originally scheduled to hit cinemas in spring 2010, but was only broadcast in German on January 8, 2011 on SAT.1. The film was made by the production company "Neue Mustache Productions" from Bodman-Ludwigshafen.

action

The focus of the plot is Ingo Lessen's research in connection with a dubious organ dealer. The nine-year-old "Mücke", son of his former colleague Tekin Kurtuluş and Lessen's godchild, is hit by a car and is in mortal danger. Since Tekin threatens to retaliate against the driver involved in the accident and he is injured in an attack a little later, the ex-investigator comes under suspicion. To relieve their former colleague, Ingo Lenßen and his colleagues begin unauthorized investigations.

production

The shooting, originally scheduled from November 21 to December 2, 2009, ultimately lasted 17 days. The shooting took place on three days in Europa-Park Rust , one day in Circus Montana , which was a guest at Dogern am Hochrhein over the weekend , and mainly on Lake Constance in Bodman-Ludwigshafen (for example Peter Lenk's artist garden in Bodman or the snack bar at the port of Ludwigshafen), Stockach and Radolfzell . The production company was “Neue Mustache Productions”, run by Ingo Lenssen's wife Georgia Lenßen. Georgia Lenßen wrote the script. Ingo Lenßen made it clear in an interview that the film should not remain a one-off event, a script for another film was ready and initial discussions were ongoing. The concrete planning for a second feature film began in spring 2011.

DVD release

On February 4, 2011, the Director's Cut DVD box was released, consisting of 1 DVD with 15 minutes of unseen material. The original soundtrack is also included in the purchase DVD.
