Lena Andersson (writer)
Lena Andersson (born April 18, 1970 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish writer and journalist .
She spent her childhood in a suburb of Stockholm, later she moved to Torsby and practiced skiing as a competitive sport. Then she returned to Stockholm. There she studied English, political science and German and initially worked as a sports journalist. She writes literary reviews for Svenska Dagbladet and columns for Dagens Nyheter .
In 1999 she published her debut novel Die Idylle von Stensby ( Var det bra så? ). For her novel Unlawful seizure ( Egenmäktigt förfarande ) she won in 2013 the August Prize in Fiction.
