The Lenzmoarkogel ( 1991  m above sea level ) is the highest point on the Gleinalpe . In terms of its popularity, however, it lags behind the three meters lower Speikkogel one kilometer further southeast, which is also visited more frequently due to its central location. The two peaks are only separated from each other by a very flat saddle.

The border between the communities of Sankt Stefan ob Leoben and Rachau runs across the summit, which also forms the border between the two districts of Leoben and Murtal .

The best-known approach is via the villages of Übelbach and Neuhof , then on to the Gleinalmsattel and over the Speikkogel to the summit. The walking time from the parking lot at the Hoyer is 3 to 3½ hours.
