Leo Günter Linder (born August 28, 1948 in Haan , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German author , director and producer . His publications include historical and theological non-fiction books , biographies , travel books and books for children and young people. His cinematic work includes numerous educational and documentary films on political and economic topics.

Life

After two years in the navy and seafaring, Linder began studying graphic design at the Werkkunstschule Wuppertal in 1970 . In 1972 he moved to the Düsseldorf Art Academy , where he studied film, philosophy and art history and graduated in 1976 as a master class student. He then worked as a freelance screenwriter , cameraman and director. From 1980 to 1983 he also studied history, Spanish and Italian at the University of Düsseldorf . Linder has worked as a writer, director and producer since 1984. He lives in Düsseldorf.
