Leo Haubenberger
Leo Haubenberger (born August 27, 1891 in Unteregging , Petzenkirchen , Lower Austria ; † November 27, 1952 in Ratzenberg , Lower Austria) was an Austrian politician of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP).
education and profession
After attending primary and secondary school , he went to a commercial academy in Linz . He became a railway official and chief inspector . In 1939 he worked for the Reich trustee for the Vienna- Niederdonau economic area . He also became chairman of the Melk District Court in 1939 . In 1940 he was editor of the German Labor Front . He was also a senior councilor .

Leo Haubenberger served several political prison terms. In 1933 he was under police arrest for four weeks. In 1934 he was remanded for a week. In 1936 he spent another three weeks in custody. In 1947 he was on trial on suspicion of an offense under the Prohibition and War Crimes Act .
