Leonard Hsu Ying-fa

Leonard Hsu Ying-fa OFM ( Chinese  徐英 發 , Pinyin Xú Yīngfā ); (* February 11, 1923 in Dong'e County, Liaocheng City , Shandong Province , Republic of China ; † March 2, 2003 ) was auxiliary bishop in Taipei .

Life

Leonard Hsu Ying-fa joined the Franciscan Order and was ordained a priest on March 29, 1952 .

On October 6, 1990, the Pope appointed him auxiliary bishop in Taipei and titular bishop of Abthugni . The Archbishop of Taipei, Joseph Ti-kang , ordained him episcopal on November 30 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Lucas Liu Hsien-tang , Bishop of Hsinchu , and Paul Shan Kuo-hsi S.J. , Bishop of Hualien .

On May 11, 2001, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
