The diocese of Hsinchu ( Latin Dioecesis Hsinchuensis ) is in the Republic of China (Taiwan) located diocese of the Roman Catholic Church , headquartered in Hsinchu . It covers the northwest part of Taiwan .

history

Pope John XXIII founded it with the Apostolic Constitution In Taipehensi on March 21, 1961 from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Taipei and was also subordinated to it as a suffragan diocese.
