Leonard Scheicher

Leonard Scheicher (born July 26, 1992 in Munich ) is a German actor .

life and career

Leonard Scheicher, born in 1992, appeared in front of the camera for the first time in an episode of the TV series SOKO Munich that was broadcast in 2012 . In the tragic comedy Sources of Life by Oskar Roehler , he took on the role of Robert Freytag, the young son of the main character played by Moritz Bleibtreu . In the film drama Finsterworld of Frauke Finsterwalder from the same year he took over the role of Dominic, a rebellious student at the side of Carla Juri , Christoph Bach and Ronald Zehrfeld . As part of the New Faces Awards 2014 Scheicher was nominated as the best young actor for these two roles.

From 2012 to 2016, Scheicher completed an acting degree at the "Ernst Busch" Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and during this time had stage appearances at the Berliner Ensemble and the bat studio theater . In 2016 Scheicher was successful in the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm , directed by Katharina Thalbach, as Tom Wingfield in the glass menagerie of Tennessee Williams .

This was followed by roles in the television films The Romeo Principle , in which he played a student in love who, unsuspectingly, gets tips from an ex-stasi psychologist for conquering his dream woman, Deadly Secrets and its sequel, Deadly Secrets - Hunting in Cape Town .

In the 2017 film Once Upon a Time Indian Country by Ilker Çatak , he took on the leading role of Mauser, a youth on the outskirts of the city and a budding boxer.

In the mini-series Das Boot , which will be broadcast in 2018, Scheicher was given the role of radio operator Frank Strasser.
