Leonardo dos Santos (born December 22, 1979 in Golania ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

Dos Santos initially played for various clubs in his home country Brazil. In 2006, the outside attacker moved to the Argentine Club Rosario Sonder for one season . After a brief stint in Qatar at Al-Ahli SC , he went to the Italian league for La Fenice Volley Isernia . In 2008 he came to Hypo Tirol Innsbruck . With the club he won the Austrian championship in 2009 and 2010. Then the German Bundesliga team Generali Haching signed the Brazilian. He won the DVV Cup with Haching in 2011 . The following season dos Santos played for Remat Zalau in the Champions League . In December he broke his contract with the Romanian club and a month later, VfB Friedrichshafen , against whom dos Santos had already faced with Haching and Zalau, signed the Brazilian as an additional outside attacker. In the cup final in 2012 , which Friedrichshafen won, he was not in the squad. At the end of the season, the South American left the Häfler after just nine games and moved to the top Greek club PAOK Thessaloniki .
