Leopold Potzinger

Leopold Potzinger (born September 27, 1870 in Oberpurkla near Radkersburg , Styria , † March 18, 1933 in Graz ) was an Austrian Catholic clergyman and politician of the Christian Social Party (CSP).

education and profession

After attending elementary school and high school , he studied Catholic theology and was ordained a priest. It was in 1908 at the University of Graz for Dr. theol. PhD . He became chaplain in Judenburg , Rottenmann , Mitterndorf and St. Lorenzen and was pastor in Abstall (Lower Styria, Slovenia ) from 1909 until his death .

Political mandates

From 1911 to 1918 he was a member of the House of Representatives in the Reichsrat ( 12th legislative period ), constituency Styria 20 (judicial districts Fehring , Mureck , Radkersburg ) for the Christian Social Association of German MPs. From October 21, 1918 to February 16, 1919: Member of the Provisional National Assembly for the CSP.
