Leopoldo Blázquez Margáin (* 1880 in Monterrey , Nuevo León ; † 1950 ) was a Mexican ambassador .
Life
Leopoldo Blázquez Margáin was the son of Margarita Margáin Ábrego (* 1850) and Manuel Blásques. From November 27, 1912 was Leopoldo Blazquez Margain d'affaires in Montevideo and from 2 June 1913 he was charge d'affaires in Buenos Aires . On November 8, 1915, Leopoldo Blázquez Margáin in Montevideo was replaced by Eduardo Hay on the instructions of Venustiano Carranza . On June 21, 1923 Leopoldo Blázquez Margáin replaced Eduardo Hay as chargé d'affaires in Rome . From October 2, 1918 to March 15, 1919 Leopoldo Blázquez Margáin was chargé d'affaires in Santiago de Chile .
From April 14, 1921 to August 26, 1921 he was Chargé d'affaires in Tokyo . From September 9, 1921 to July 10, 1922 he was Chargé d'affaires in Beijing . From November 7, 1927 to January 24, 1935 he was ambassador to Prague and thus the first ambassador of the government of Plutarco Elías Calles to Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk in Czechoslovakia. On October 17, 1932, Leopoldo Blázquez Margáin became part of the government of Abelardo L. Rodríguez appointed delegate to the 13th session of the League of Nations in Geneva.
