Les Scheinflug (born October 1, 1938 as Ladislav Scheinflug in Bückeburg ) is a former Australian football player and trainer of German origin.

In 1955 he emigrated to Australia with his parents. In 1961 he returned to his hometown for a short time.

During the Football World Cup in 1974 in his native country, he acted as assistant coach for Australia's national team, which was made up entirely of amateurs and took part in a World Cup finals for the first time. One met in the preliminary round on the teams of the Federal Republic of Germany and the GDR .

In 1981 he was the head coach of the Australian national team for three years as the successor to Rudi Gutendorf . He later jumped in five more times (1983, 1990, 1992 and 1994) as an interim trainer. Overall, he coached the Socceroos in 21 international matches and achieved 15 wins.

In addition to several engagements with Australian clubs, he also trained the selection of Fiji in 2002 .
