Lesley Hunt (born May 29, 1950 in Perth ) is a former Australian tennis player .

Career

In her tennis career Hunt won a double title on the WTA Tour and on December 29, 1970 with the Australian team the Federation Cup in 1971 with a 3-0 final victory over Great Britain .

In 1971 she was at the side of Joy Emerson in the double finals of the Australian Open ; they lost against the pairing Margaret Court / Evonne Goolagong with 0: 6 and 0: 6. In doubles, she reached the semifinals of a Grand Slam tournament three more times : in 1971 at the French Open and in 1972 and 1974 at the US Open . In addition, she managed twice in a semi-finals in mixed, namely in 1972 and 1976 at the US Open.
