Leslie David Baker
Leslie David Baker (born February 19, 1958 ) is an American actor . He became known in his leading role as "Stanley Hudson" in the television series The Office .
Live and act
Baker graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelor's degree in psychology . This was followed by a master’s degree in Human Services Administration at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership in Chicago. During his master's degree, Baker initially taught special education and acted as an office worker in an OfficeMax commercial. In Chicago, he worked for the Board of Education , the Department of Public Health, and the Office of Cable and Communications . He moved to Los Angeles in the late 1990s.
After an audition, he got the role in the series The Office , where he played Stanley Hudson, a salesman for a paper company. He received excellent reviews for this.
Baker and the entire cast of "The Office" won the Screen Actors Guild Awards in the category "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series" in 2007 and 2008. In December 2017, four years after the final broadcast, Several fellow actors expressed interest in a continuation of the show, which Baker expressed his interest in.
Baker released the song "2 Be Simple" in November 2011, in which he dances with scantily clad women in a bathrobe. Jan Chaney of the Washington Post wrote: "For reasons that remain unclear, Baker released a track intended as a party anthem for all of your Christmas deals."
After taking on minor roles in Scorpion and Life in Pieces , Baker played "Principal Wentworth" in Raven's Home . He also appeared in the CMT series Still the King and in the films Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017) and in The Happytime Murders (2018). He played a farmer in a 2013 commercial for FileMaker Inc. alongside his former fellow actors from "The Office" .
