Leszek Leszkiewicz

Leszek Leszkiewicz (born May 10, 1970 in Gorlice , Lesser Poland Voivodeship , Poland ) is a Polish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Tarnów .

Life

Leszek Leszkiewicz occurred in 1998 in the Catholic seminary of the Diocese of Tarnów and received on 25 May 1996, the sacrament of Holy Orders . In 2001 he traveled to Ecuador for missionary purposes , where he worked in the Babahoyo diocese until 2006 . From 2006 to 2009 he continued his studies at the Pontifical Urban University. From 2010 he was the Disciplinary Prefect at the Tarnów Seminary.

On 19 December 2015 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Bossa and Auxiliary Bishop in Tarnów. The Bishop of Tarnów, Andrzej Jeż , ordained him episcopal on February 6 of the following year . Co- consecrators were the Tarnów auxiliary bishops Wiesław Lechowicz and Stanisław Salaterski .
