Leticia Moreno
Leticia Muñoz Moreno (* 1985 in Madrid ) is a Spanish violinist .
Life
She began her musical training in violin and piano using the Suzuki method at the age of three and first performed when she was five. From 1996 she studied for six years with Zakhar Bron at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía and in Germany at the Cologne University of Music . She later took lessons with Maxim Vengerov in Saarbrücken and David Takeno at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama , where she received the best degree in the history of the school for her final concert. Her last teacher was Mstislav Rostropovich since 2003.
Leticia Moreno now plays a Pietro Guarneri (1679), owned by the Stradivari Society of Chicago, and has given concerts all over the world. B. in Austria, England, Saint Petersburg, Moscow with Vladimir Spivakov , Italy, Poland, South America, Mexico and Spain, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra .
The Spanish composer Francisco Lara dedicated his composition Capriccio for Leticia to her in 2005 .
On August 27, 2014 she played the solo violin part of the open-air concert of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra , the public debut of the conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada .
