The Lettmecke ( river code number: 2766528) is a 2.2 km long orographically right tributary of the Fretterbach in the area of the municipality of Finnentrop in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The stream Littmecke Siepen is designated in the NRW water directory .
geography
The stream has its source about 550 m west-northwest of the church of Schönholthausen at an altitude of 353 m above sea level. NHN . First flowing in west-north-westerly directions, the Litmecker Siepen flows on the right after a stretch of about 700 m . At its mouth opposite the Lettmecke, this 2 km long tributary has covered about three times the flow distance.
After a further 500 m flow, the stream turns for the next 500 m to the southwest and then to turn again to the northwest. After a stretch of 2.2 km the Lettmecke flows out at 234 m above sea level. NHN in the industrial area of Lenhausen in the Fretterbach. The difference in height between the source and the mouth is 119 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 54 ‰. The 3.23 km² catchment area is drained to the North Sea via Fretterbach, Lenne , Ruhr and Rhine .
