Levent Aktoprak

Levent Aktoprak (born September 18, 1959 in Ankara , Turkey ) is a German writer , radio and television journalist .

Life

Aktoprak came to Germany as a toddler. He studied sociology , education and literature at the comprehensive university in Wuppertal . Today (2018) he works as a freelance radio journalist for Deutschlandfunk .

In the literary field , Aktoprak works as a narrator , but primarily as a poet . In 1980 he was awarded the a cycle of poems literature - Award of the city Bergkamen . Books of poetry such as Development (1983) and Untererm Arm die Odyssey (1987) appeared later . In 1991, Aktoprak published his poem The Sea Still in Mind .

Also collaboration with musicians, for example the 1993 program overcoming borders with Kazim Çalisgan .

He is known to a wide audience as the presenter of the Germany radio program Tag für Tag - Aus Religion und Gesellschaft . He is also the president of the BVB International eV fan club

Levent Aktoprak lives together with his partner and son in Kamen .
