Lewis Morgan (born September 30, 1996 in Paisley ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Inter Miami .

Career

Lewis Morgan was born in Paisley, Scotland. He began his career in the city of Glasgow, about 10 kilometers to the west, in the Youth Academy of Rangers FC . For the Rangers he played a total of eight years. In July 2013 Morgan moved to FC St. Mirren where he signed a two-year contract as a professional. Initially, however, the midfielder played another year in the youth of the Saints . He made his professional debut in September 2014, on the 8th match day of the 2014/15 season against Celtic Glasgow after he was substituted on for Thomas Reilly . By the end of the season, Morgan was under Ian Murray in seven other first division games for use. With the Saints Morgan rose from bottom of the table in the championship . Morgan extended his expiring contract in May 2015 for two more years until 2017. In the second division season 2015/16 Morgan played 18 games for the club. On the last day of the season he was able to achieve the goal for the 2-2 final against Glasgow Rangers , which meant his first professional goal.

On January 5, 2018, the first division club Celtic Glasgow signed him. Morgan played on loan at his old club St. Mirren until the end of the season.
