Liam Genockey (born August 12, 1948 in Dublin ) is an Irish fusion musician ( drums ).

Live and act

Genockey first played in Plymouth during the 1960s in local bands, then at Adolphus Rebirth and ZZebra to play before with John McCoy to Gillan moved. Since the mid-1970s he was part of the Amalgam band . Subsequently, he also worked in other groups of Trevor Watts , such as the Moiré Music Ensemble and the Moiré Music Trio . Since 1989 he has been part of Steeleye Span almost entirely . He also worked with Annie Whitehead , for example on her Robert Wyatt tribute Soupsongs Live , with which he also appeared at the Moers Festival . He has also recorded with John Martyn , Gerry Rafferty , Mike Heron , Kevin Ayers , Bonnie Tyler , Linda Thompson , Paul Brady , Maddy Prior , Lol Coxhill , Hugh Hopper and Elton Dean .
