Lica Lica (also: Licalica Khuchu ) is a scattered settlement in the Potosí department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Lica Lica is the third largest town in the canton of Betanzos in the municipality of Betanzos in the province of Cornelio Saavedra . The village is located at an altitude of 3430  m on the Río Lica Lica, which flows downstream into the Río Tambo Mayu.

Lica Lica lies between the Bolivian Altiplano in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east. The climate of the region is a typical time of day climate , in which the temperature fluctuations during the day are greater than during the year.

The national highway Ruta 5 runs through Potosí, which leads from the Chilean border in an easterly direction via Uyuni to Potosí and then on via Betanzos and Sucre to La Palizada in the Santa Cruz department . East of Potosí, Ruta 5 crosses the Río Chaquí Mayu after 33 kilometers on a road bridge, and one kilometer further a country road branches off in a north-easterly direction from the main road, on which one reaches Lica Lica seven kilometers later .
