Durkina started in Vershina Tjoi in November 2014 for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup and took 50th place over 5 km freestyle, 48th place in sprint and 35th place over 10 km classic. At the end of January 2015 she won the silver medal over 7.5 km classic and the gold medal in the mixed relay at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Steg . At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râşnov , she achieved 21st place over 10 km freestyle and ninth place over 5 km classic. The following year she won the relay gold medal at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Soldier Hollow . In the individual races she came in 33rd place in sprint, 21st place in skiathlon and 16th place over 5 km freestyle. In March 2017, she was in Syktyvkar Russian junior champion in skiathlon. She ran her first World Cup race in December 2017 in Davos , which she finished in 67th place in the 10 km freestyle. In the following month in Planica with the 27th place over 10 km classic got her first World Cup points and achieved the seventh place over 10 km classic at the U23 world championships in Goms . At the World Cup finals in Falun , she finished 55th.
In the 2018/19 season Durkina finished 26th in the Lillehammer Triple and 19th in the Tour de Ski 2018/19 . In addition, she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with second place in the relay in Beitostølen and at the end of the season she was 39th in the overall World Cup and 29th in the Distance World Cup. At the U23 World Championships in Lahti in 2019 , she won the silver medal in the 15 km mass start race and came 11th in the 10 km freestyle run. In the following year she won 14th place in the 15 km mass start race and 11th place over 10 km classic at the U23 World Championships in Oberwiesenthal .
