Conrad Valmont enjoys life in the family-owned and prestigious Manhattan Hotel, where he is looked after by the staff. Conrad has no goals or steadfast relationships and only one friend, Dylan Tate. He takes him in when Conrad loses his right to live in the hotel due to the separation of his parents. In the friend's apartment, Conrad meets Beatrice Fairbanks, who is already in a relationship with Dylan.

So within a week Conrad's life is turned upside down and he begins to look for the meaning of life and finds great love. The film is told from Conrad's perspective.

The film received mostly negative reviews. At Metacritic , the film received a Metascore of 34/100 based on 9 reviews, at Rotten Tomatoes 11 percent of the 18 reviews were positive.

The film service believes Love to Go is a “romantic New York comedy in which sympathetic characters in front of a picturesque backdrop master their pseudo-tragic life”, “which they [also] succeed in an amusing way despite some pitfalls”.
